Danube Cliffs at Hârșova
Limestone cliffs above the Danube at Hârșova
At Hârșova the Danube flows past massive limestone cliffs rising straight out of the water – the Canaralele of Hârșova. The area is a nature park with quiet river channels, islands and waterbirds. From the high bank you can see far across the Danube and its floodplain.
