Gura Portiței
A remote strip of sand between Lake Golovița and the Black Sea
Gura Portiței is a narrow strip of sand between Lake Golovița and the Black Sea, on the southern edge of the delta. You get here by boat from the fishing village of Jurilovca, and on arrival a long beach, reed-roofed houses and peace and quiet await you. It is a place for anyone who wants to be truly away from it all.
