Vama Veche

The bohemian village on the Bulgarian border, with beach music and sunrises

Vama Veche is the last village on the Romanian coast before the Bulgarian border and has had a free, bohemian atmosphere for decades. Beach bars, live music and long evenings attract young people and nostalgic regulars alike. Many stay until morning to watch the sun rise over the sea.
