Murighiol & Mahmudia
The closest departure points to the lakes and channels of the delta
Murighiol and Mahmudia are two villages on the Sfântu Gheorghe branch of the Danube, where boats leave daily for the channels, lakes and bird colonies of the southern delta. Compared to Tulcea, the boat ride to the wild areas is shorter, which leaves more time for nature.
