Sfântu Gheorghe

The village at the end of the delta, between the Danube and the Black Sea

Sfântu Gheorghe lies where the branch of the same name flows into the Black Sea. The fishing village has no road connection and can only be reached by water. A long, wild beach, sunsets over the delta and traditional fish dishes make Sfântu Gheorghe a place for anyone who wants to leave the city behind.
